The “Byron Solar Revolution” will be held this Saturday 21st. Come and see the purpose built building where the entire roof is PV which does not need roofing underneath. Have a ride in an electric car home made conversion and ride a solar powered recumbent tricycle and other innovations. Tour the honey factory within the expo building.


The venue is right next to Tyagarah airfield and is accessed from the first road on the left down Greys lane marked with a ballooning sign. It will be an interesting event with the chance to talk to well known experts.

This is an opportunity to network with people involved in sustainability – both businesses and individuals.
Hear about sustainability initiatives that are happening in our Byron region and make connections with people and businesses you may be interested in collaborating with.

7.15am for 7.30 start
– Breakfast Buffett of organic and local eggs, bacon, toast & accompaniments, muesli, yoghurt and fruits. Teas & coffee.

7.30 – 8.30
– Introductions, hosted by Alice from the Green Building Centre, inviting each person to speak about themselves and their business, project or event for 2 mins.

Guest speaker giving a 10 min presentation on a specific subject or event. This meeting will be Patrick Halliday from Juno Energy on “Solar for Businesses”

9am Finish.
